The Board of Public Health will hold its January meeting for the Georgia Department of Public Health 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14 at the Department of Public Health building, 2 Peachtree Street, NW, Atlanta in the 5th Floor Board Room.
The agenda includes an update on the flu in Georgia by Cherie Drenzek, state epidemiologist and chief science officer, MCH Title V needs assessment by Paige Jones and Sarah Blake and a legislative update by Megan Andrews.
The meeting is open to the public, but there are security requirements. Visitors will be required to present a valid photo ID (driver’s license, military ID, or other government issued ID cards). All visitors with carry-on items will be required to place those items through the X-ray machine.
