Board approves Five Forks Trickum construction

Feb 18, 2011

A section of Five Forks Trickum Road will get a face lift under a contract approved by the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners Tuesday.

The Five Forks Trickum intersection at Ashton Lane will get new turn lanes and sidewalks, and the existing center turn lane will be extended to Inglenook Drive. CMES Inc. was the low bidder at $327,236.

The project is the latest in a series of improvements along Five Forks Trickum. In 2009 the road was widened from Flowers Crossing to Ronald Reagan Parkway, and the section from Cole Drive to Garner Road is currently being improved.
