Board appointments approved by Henry County commissioners

The Henry County Board of Commissioners voted at its Dec. 17 regular meeting to approve four new board appointments.

Pete Peterson was named to the Zoning Advisory Board to fill the unexpired term of Willie Brown. Vanessa Thomas was put on the Henry First Board to fill the unexpired term of Don Dunlap. Chester Ivey was named to the Library Board to fill the unexpired term of Maria Ocampa. Eddie Ausband was named to the Henry County Development Authority to fill the unexpired term of Charles Mobley.

Ausband, Peterson and Thomas will serve through Dec. 31, 2020. Ivey will serve through Dec. 31, 2022. All were approved unanimously.
