The National Black MBA Association Atlanta Chapter will award scholarships to high school and college students for outstanding achievements at the organization’s annual scholarship luncheon on Friday.
Actor Lamman Rucker will deliver the keynote address at the event, which will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta hotel.
The program will award more than $15,000 in scholarships to high school, undergraduate, master's and doctoral students.
Scholarship winners are: Michael Hollingsworth, University of Georgia; Wayne Nesbitt, University of Georgia; Carla Armstrong, Emory University; Olatorera Majekodunm, Emory University; Katie Walton, Clark Atlanta University; Chris Ortega, Morehouse College; Darius Green, Lovejoy High School; Enrico Green, Lovejoy High School; and Danstavious Zachery, Carver Early College.
