Authorities are investigating the area where human remains were found in Dekalb County.
The body was found near the intersection of Glenwood and Glendale, DeKalb police confirmed.The remains were taken to the DeKalb County Medical Examiner’s office.
An investigator at the office said it’s unclear whether the remains are from a woman or a man.The medical examiner’s office also has not yet determined whether the person died of natural causes or was a homicide victim.
DeKalb police are not treating the incident as a homicide at this point, a DeKalb police spokeswoman said.
