Austell Mayor Joe Jerkins and the City Council will review spending $118,908 on various projects during their 7 p.m. Monday meeting at Council Chambers, City Hall, 2716 Broad St. SW.

The largest expense involves paying $57,719.75 to RP Paving Solutions with 2015 special purpose local option sales tax to restripe five roads.

They also will consider spending $31,188.46, again from 2015 SPLOST, to buy three zero-turn lawn mowers from Barnes Hardware.

From the contingency fund, they will determine whether to spend $14,500 to replace the public safety computer server, shared by the police and fire departments, since the present server has not been working well over the last six months, Fire Chief Tim Williams said.
