The Austell City Council will review an annexation request during its pre-agenda meeting at 6 p.m. Monday at Austell City Hall, 2716 Broad St.
A public hearing and final decision by the council are expected during the 7 p.m. meeting Dec. 7, also at City Hall, on the request from Silver Creek Properties Inc. to annex property on Maxham Road.
This property will retain its current Cobb County zoning of single-family residential.
Anyone wishing to speak in opposition must sign up one day before the hearing at the Community Development Department at the Austell Threadmill Complex, 5000 Austell-Powder Springs Road, Suite 101.
