Brian McGowan, president of Invest Atlanta, the city's economic development agency, will ring the NASDAQ Stock Market Opening Bell at the NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square on Friday. McGowan will be accompanied by more than 20 Atlanta-based technology companies, including Ballers Bridge and StartupChicks. "Atlanta is home to some of the country’s leading tech companies but it is also a hotbed of entrepreneurial activity," McGowan said in a statement. "We want to set the pace for the country, for this sector."
