Atlanta Police and Crime Stoppers are asking the public’s help in finding a murder suspect who they say was involved in a shooting at a Moreland Avenue bar.
Jonathan “Ju Ju” Betts, 29, is wanted in connection with the Dec. 21 shooting death of De’Juan Cook.
Police say Betts went to the Driftwood Drive-In bar in the 1500 block of Moreland Avenue, where he got into a physical altercation with the mother of his child, who was there with Cook, her current boyfriend.
The incident report says Betts punched the woman in head, knocking her to the ground. When her boyfriend intervened, Betts shot him several times. Police say Betts stood over the victim, shooting him until he was dead.

Crime Stoppers Atlanta is offering up to a $2,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and indictment. Persons may remain anonymous and still be eligible for the reward.
