Investigators believe a 13-year-old Atlanta girl ran away after getting in trouble for fighting.
LaKoaia Johnson, who also goes by the nickname "CoCo," was last seen carrying a black gym bag around 10 p.m. Monday walking outside of her Campbellton Road apartment complex, Officer K.Y. Jones with Atlanta police said.
LaKoaia is bipolar and suffers from depression, Jones said. The teen was charged in a fighting incident Monday night and left through her bedroom window after her grandmother was asleep, police said.
LaKoaia is 5-feet-5 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. She has a red Mohawk and was last seen wearing a tan shirt with ripped blue jeans. The teen has a history of running away.
Anyone with information of LaKoaia's whereabouts is asked to contact Atlanta police.
