UPDATE: The restaurant was re-inspected Thursday and received a 70/C. Ten violations were noted, including a continued failure to provide hot water at all hand sinks and a failure to post the failing score received Nov. 6.

ORIGINAL STORY: A pizza restaurant failed a recent health inspection, Fulton County records show.

Baba Jaan Pizza, located on Delowe Drive, scored a 31 following the Nov. 6 evaluation. Scores below 70 are considered failing. Its prior score, from August 2016, was a 100.

According to the report, several live roaches and spiders were seen during the inspection. Dead roaches were also reported.

“The facility must provide pest control from a licensed contractor within 10 days and provide invoice to health authority at follow up,” the report said.

Officials also reported heavy rust build-up on a can opener blade and an employee preparing food without a proper hair restraint.
