Atlanta parents invited to school meetings

The Atlanta public school system is inviting parents to share their thoughts on parental involvement, grant usage and federal programs.

The school district has scheduled meetings for June 26 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Usher Elementary School and Price Middle School.

Topics will include the parent involvement policy, Comprehensive Local Education Agency Improvement Plan, use of Title I parental involvement funds, the Flexible Learning Program, the School Improvement Grant and Race to the Top scope of work.
