The Atlanta Hawks, State Farm and anti-hunger organization Goodr are hosting a free drive-thru grocery store in Norcross this week.

Pre-registration is required to participate in the event, and all registration spots are already full. Those who do not register will not be able to take home food.

Between 300 and 500 families are expected to receive fresh produce, shelf-stable food items and other essentials Friday.

Many malls have been closed for more than a month due to the coronavirus pandemic.
