The popular Atlanta Dogwood Festival Mimosa 5K will return for the 84th-annual festival on April 18, according to organizers. From its Piedmont Park starting line to its mimosa toast finish line, this run is a favorite with active Atlantans, and it’s an AJC Peachtree Road Race Qualifier, too, according to a press release.

Last year, the festival added the Kid’s “Mini Mosa” .5K Run for children ages 8 and under, and it will again take place on the same morning as the 5K, beginning at 9 a.m. in the Meadow of Piedmont Park.

The Atlanta Dogwood Festival Mimosa 5K takes place on festival Saturday morning and attracts more than 1,500 participants each spring, and early registration is recommended at Active.com.
