Mark Pester has a thing for bugs.

We’re not talking about the creepy-crawly kind, but rather about his love for Volkswagens.

The Marietta resident has a collection of VWs, whose sedans are called Beetles.

One of Pester’s fantastic restorations is this 1966 double cab pickup.

Like Pester, there are so many people in metro Atlanta who love their classic cars.

From Fayette to Forsyth counties, these beautiful machines can be seen cruising the back roads and highways of this state.

This video series has been created to showcase some of the fantastic cars in metro Atlanta and the people who put in the time, sweat and money to keep the tires rolling and the engines humming.

If you have a car you would like showcased, email Todd C. Duncan at todd.duncan@ajc.com.
