Atlanta benefits from Staples Foundation award to nonprofits

The Staples Foundation, the charitable arm of Staples, recently announced it has awarded more than $1.4 million in grants to non-profit organizations in 43 states. including Georgia.

A new program lets Staples associates direct donations to nonprofits focused on education or developing job skills.

Among those receiving funds is the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The organization’s national headquarters is in Atlanta.

The $183,000 donation will be given to multiple clubs.
