CNBC recently released a list of top 10 charities changing the world in 2015 and an Atlanta-based organization made the list.
Atlanta-based MAP International ranked No. 2 with a score of 99.92 — a score compiled by Charity Navigator, which compares financial health, accountability and the transparency of reporting.
MAP International is a global Christian health organization with a mission to advance the health of people living in the poorest parts of the world.
The charity partners with people living in conditions of poverty to help save lives and promote healthier families and communities by providing medicine and helping prevent disease.
All of CNBC's top charities changing the world are global charities with budgets exceeding $100 million and net assets of at least $65 million. In addition, the ten charities chosen do extraordinary work both across the country and overseas without compromising financial management.
