A popular theater and arts center in Stone Mountain is back open after making $1.1 million in renovations.

ART Station, located at 5384 Manor Drive in historic Stone Mountain Village, is known for its theatrical productions related to Southern arts and culture.

The contemporary arts center received new AC, electrical equipment, plumbing, windows and doors, according to a statement from ART Station. The lobby was also renovated, and it got a new gift shop.

“We are so thankful for the support of the Atlanta funding community and our individual donors who have made this campaign successful and have invested in the future of ART Station,” president, founder and artistic director David Thomas said in a statement.
