A Lawrenceville restaurant that was the talk of the town last week when word spread of its relocation is once again in the spotlight.
Gwinnett foodies and out-of-towners have heralded the Local Republic as the best place to eat in Lawrenceville eateries out of 279, according to TripAdvisor, an international travel site with more than 200 million travel reviews logged on food, lodging and entertainment.
TripAdvisor has also granted Local Republic’s craft beer and gourmet burgers the Certificate of Excellence award, which is awarded to restaurants, attractions and accommodations that consistently earn positive reviews from travelers.
Pita Corner, which one reviewer described as “delicious fast food,” took the No. 2 spot on the list.
