The Atlanta Association of Educators has awarded $1,000 scholarships to each of three graduating high school seniors from Atlanta Public Schools to help with their college expenses. All three plan on choosing education as their major.
The winners are Raven Tukes of South Atlanta High, who will be attending the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass.; Darius Floyd of Benjamin E. Mays High, who will be attending Benedict College in Columbia; and Kenyatta Moon of Washington High, who will be attending Dalton State College.
