APS hosts middle school event

Atlanta Public Schools will host a conference for middle school families from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Coan Middle School, 1550 Hosea L. Williams Dr. NE, Atlanta. Superintendent Erroll Davis will be the opening speaker at the event. Workshops will be held on preventing childhood obesity, fathering middle school students and cyber-bullying, among other topics.
