A man who was on the Atlanta Police Department's "Most Wanted" list was arrested after a citizen reported his bad driving, police say.

An officer was patrolling the Howell Mill Road corridor on Oct. 17 when the citizen “flagged him down” regarding a gray Jeep driving recklessly in the area, according to an arrest summary.

The officer found a car matching that description and initiated a traffic stop, but the driver allegedly ran into a construction site and then a wooded area.

The officer apprehended the man, who was found to be Jovan Pickney. Pickney was wanted on “several warrants” accusing him of armed robbery, according to police.

Pickney was allegedly involved in the theft of a 2014 BMW — which had inside it a $7,000 watch, a $3,000 set of golf clubs, $2,700 cash and a $900 iPhone 7 Plus — from a Buckhead gas station in late June.
