A bank in another Cobb County Kroger grocery store was held up Wednesday, the second such robbery in recent weeks.

Cobb County police said a man entered a Fifth Third Bank branch at a Kroger at 2100 Roswell Road in Marietta and handed a teller a note demanding money.

The man was given an undisclosed amount of cash, and he fled on foot, police said.

The 5-foot 8-inch white man was wearing a hooded black sweatshirt with “GEORGIA” in arched lettering on the front. He also had on a baseball cap with a star logo and wore sunglasses and gloves.

On Sept. 30, a man walked into a Kroger on Floyd Road in Mableton in west Cobb County and handed a Best Bank teller a note demanding money.

The Best Bank suspect was described as a black man in his late 30s to early 40s who was wearing eyeglasses, a dark blazer and Kangol-style hat. He also fled with an undetermined amount of cash.
