Animal advisory panel plans meeting

The Forsyth County Animal Control & Shelter Advisory Committee has scheduled a site visit and tour as part of its regular meeting at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at the Forsyth County Animal Shelter, 1904 Old Atlanta Road, Cumming.

The committee plans to continue discussions for design of a new shelter which would include, among other things, number of animals, what kind of animals and the process for adopting animals. Once completed, the panel will forward its recommendations to the County Commission.
