Q: Have any provisions been made at the Georgia Driver's License Offices for the elderly who need to renew their license or get a photo ID? A number of these people can't wait four to six hours.

A: Susan Sports, a spokeswoman for the Department of Driver Services, told Q&A on the News in an email that DDS "strives to provide extra assistance to any customer that may have a challenge navigating the customer service center." She wrote that DDS employees at the front desks and those who are lobby hosts are encouraged to offer assistance to customers who face challenges. Sports said that Tuesdays and Saturdays are the busiest days throughout the state.
Q: Isn't a corporation like Kraft with a high market capitalization required to list with the New York Stock Exchange? Can any corporation just sort of up and jump ship to another exchange at any time?

A: Companies aren't required to list on any exchange because of market cap. Even if the market cap is high enough, the company must meet other criteria to be listed. If it meets that criteria, the company would then decide where it wants to be listed. NYSE, which is sometimes referred to as the "Big Board," and NASDAQ wage what The Wall Street Journal has called a "fierce competition" for companies with promotions and other incentives. Facebook was heavily courted by both exchanges before going with NASDAQ.
