The Alpharetta City Council will discuss current and future infrastructure improvements during a workshop session at 11:30 a.m. with the regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Alpharetta City Hall, 2 Park Plaza.

The council will weigh in on a staff recommendation to allow the city of Johns Creek to provide a connection from Ga. 120 to Webb Bridge Park and construct a roundabout at the park entrance.

A staff report said the roundabout would mitigate traffic speed and improve pedestrian safety. It’s part of design work on a larger project improving Ga. 120 between State Bridge and Jones Bridge roads.

During an earlier workshop that day, council members will continue discussing possible capital projects and the potential call for a 2016 bond referendum that would fund them.

The council has held a series of meetings on the issue over the past few months. Council members have talked about possible road, park system and sewer improvements.
