Alpharetta has set public meetings for later this month on two transportation projects: The network of paths and trails linking downtown with the surrounding area, and proposed improvements to the Webb Bridge Road corridor.

A “No Formal Presentation/Just Drop In” meeting is scheduled for 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Jan. 17, on planned pedestrian connections linking downtown with the Avalon development and the Haynes Bridge/Ga. 400 area. Residents are invited to comment on the plans, what they’d like to see developed and the connections they hope to see.

The other meeting, set for 6:30 to 8 p.m., Jan. 19, is a public discussion on Phase I of the Webb Bridge Road Improvement Project between North Point Parkway and Kimball Bridge Road (Ga. 120). City representatives will present what they’ve learned from public comments, online surveys and traffic data analysis, and how that information will influence the corridor’s design.

Both meetings will take place at Alpharetta City Hall, 2 Park Plaza. The Webb Bridge meeting also will be streamed online at tinyurl.com/htoygrl and at Facebook live, www.facebook.com/CityOfAlpharetta. Questions and comments can be submitted via Twitter at #WebbBridgeTalk and emailed to WBTalk@alpharetta.ga.us.
