Alpharetta is trying to get the ball rolling again on its new, downtown, municipal parking deck by scheduling a “Community Conversation” in February on the proposed deck’s location and design.

The public meeting is set for 6:30 to 8 p.m. Feb. 13 at City Hall. The city has identified possible locations south of Milton Avenue on the east and west sides of Roswell Street.

The City Council was prepared to select a location last October, but errors were found in traffic projections made by an outside consultant, Kimley-Horn and Associates. Additional studies were to be done at the consultant’s expense.
