Alpharetta residents can shred documents for free

Alpharetta residents and small businesses can securely discard confidential documents such as old checks and credit card statements from 10 a.m. to noon today at a mobile shredding truck at the Alpharetta Crossing Center, 11770 Haynes Bridge Road.

Alpharetta, Eco Shredding and Starbucks offer this free service. They ask people to limit items to five boxes per person. Shredded material will be recycled. Staples or clips don’t have to be removed but larger metal pieces must be taken off.
