The Alpharetta City Council has approved, with conditions, a “bowling entertainment venue” proposed for the southwest corner of Haynes Bridge Road and Lakeview Parkway in the 360 Tech Village development.

Fuqua Acquisitions II LLC had requested a conditional use permit allowing the Pinstripes in a free-standing, two-story building with 28,000 square feet and a rooftop terrace, according to a staff report to the council.

Staff described Pinstripes as “a high-end entertaining/dining venue consisting of bowling, bocce, restaurant and special event space.” The Alpharetta location would have up to 110 full- and part-time employees and be the chain’s first in metro Atlanta.

Among the conditions recommended by staff were hours of operation limited to 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday; and architectural “substantially similar” to that of the Pinstripes in Georgetown Park, Washington, D.C., with a brick exterior and mill-style trim.
