It can be impolite to talk about age, but the Alpharetta Fire Department has invited folks to celebrate its 75th birthday today.

The department posted on Facebook earlier today saying there'd be not only historical displays but food (they didn't say if it was chili) and a bounce house for children.

The invite said people can come by from 4 to 7 p.m. at Fire Station No. 81, 2970 Webb Bridge Road.

As with most parties, if the hosts are suddenly running around putting on different clothes rushing to get out the door, you might want to get out of the way.
