Afropunk is making its way to Atlanta nearly a year after it was cancelled due to bad weather.

The music festival, dubbed "The Carnival of Consciousness: Atlanta," will be held at 787 Windsor Street from Oct. 14 to Oct. 16.

“Is it a conference, retreat, salon, seminar, a rave, a happening, think-tank, a maneuver?,” read an email to potential festival goers. “Yes, to all of the above. We prefer to think of the Carnival as a new type of open cultural space and gathering of like-minded people.”

The weekend long festivities will include a Fancy Dress Ball, lectures, live art and performances from Tyler the Creator, SZA, Kelala and Big Freedia among others.

Tickets are $60 for a weekend pass or $75 for the entire weekend with parking. Parking is $10 each day. No single day tickets will be sold.

An invitation only pre-sale code was sent Sept. 15.

Users have until Sept. 30 to use the code before general tickets go on sale.
