Access to Powder Springs City Hall will be altered July 9-23 while an American Disabilities Act (ADA) ramp is installed.

Construction hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., barring inclement weather conditions.

The southern side of City Hall at 4484 Marietta St. will be blocked for construction activities.

Upon completion of construction activities, the existing main entrance will be blocked for removal of the existing ramp.

Since the work will affect activities around City Hall “significantly,” according to a city statement, the contractor will construct barricades and signs to protect and redirect staff employees and visitors into the building.

Parking spaces closer to the work zone will be restricted.
