Ga. 400 lanes to close in Forsyth

A double lane closure will be in effect this weekend, Nov. 2-4, on southbound Ga. 400 between Bald Ridge Marina Road and Buford Road in Forsyth County. GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
A double lane closure will impact traffic on southbound Ga. 400 in Forsyth County from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon.
The lanes are scheduled to be closed from 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, until 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, between Bald Ridge Marina Road and Buford Road (Ga. 20) near Cumming, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
The closure will allow crews to complete finishing touches to the driving surface, GDOT says. C.W. Matthews Construction Co. is the contractor. The work is expected to be completed Nov. 20.
GDOT and Forsyth County this year opened a widened section of Ga. 400, with a new lane in each direction between McFarland Parkway and Browns Bridge Road (Ga. 369).
