Clayton County Sheriff Victor Hill gave county mothers a shoutout Thursday.
Hill sent out his annual Mother's Day greeting via robocall. In addition to the greeting, the sheriff urged residents who knew of any woman being abused to call his office at 770 477-4479 so that deputies would be dispatched. The robocalls have been a fixture of Hill's term in office. He's seeking a third term and is facing three challengers in the May 24 primary. The challengers are Clarence Cox III, former security chief of Clayton Public Schools; retired Georgia State trooper Dwayne Fabian; Grantville police officer Chris Pigors; and Satira Walker, who recently retired from the Clayton Police Department.
