Want to hear from the people who may be presiding over Gwinnett County’s judicial system? You’ll have a chance May 5 in Norcross.

The Upsilon Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and Community Action Network Initiatives will host a forum for Gwinnett judicial candidates from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. May 5 at the Norcross Cultural Arts & Community Center, 10 College St. NW.

The forum will feature candidates from three contested races:

*Incumbent Superior Court Judge Ronnie Batchelor faces challenger Gregory McKeithen.

*Incumbent State Court Judge Shawn Bratton faces challenger Latawsha Little-Hill.

*Incumbent State Court Judge Carla Brown faces challenger Ronda Colvin-Leary.

Candidates will meet the public beginning at 6:30 p.m. At 7 p.m. panelists will ask the candidates questions on their judicial philosophy, legal experience, views on judicial accountability and other issues.
