Lane closures coming to Ga. 316 in Gwinnett County
Look for nightly lane closures on Ga. 316 in Gwinnett County next week as workers prepare to resurface the highway.
A contractor with the Georgia Department of Transportation will be milling various locations in preparation for the placement of new pavement. Traffic will be reduced to one lane eastbound and westbound starting Sunday night.
The closures will last from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. The affected area includes Ga. 316 from Ga. 20 to Ga. 120.
GDOT advises motorists to be alert and slow down while driving through work zones.
