Henry County government workers should report to work as normal Friday.
The Henry County Animal Care and Control Center as well as the county recycling centers will be closed Saturday due to the impending winter weather storm, county spokeswoman Melissa Robinson said Thursday. Both facilities are in McDonough.
County officials were awaiting additional updated weather reports expected to be released during a regional briefing with the National Weather Service at 4 p.m. Thursday.
“Henry County will have their road crews in place if necessary and our public safety and all first responders are aware if there’s inclement weather to be ready,” Robinson said.
