Hampton approves nearly $9 million FY 2016 budget, no tax hike

Hampton officials approved this week a fiscal 2016 budget of $8.75 million. The budget includes no tax increase nor does it include expected proceeds from the 1-cent Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax. No tax hike also means no property taxes for residents.
