June 9, 2016

Gwinnett County seniors will get help with transportation to senior centers and medical appointments under a contract approved by the Board of Commissioners Tuesday.

Commissioners approved a $232,707 contract with the Georgia Department of Human Services. The state agency will provide group and one-way trips in wheelchair-accessible vehicles beginning July 1. People age 60 and older are eligible.
