Fulton commissioners fire county manager

Fulton County Commissioners Wednesday fired County Manager Dwight Ferrell just a year after they hired him.

Commissioners voted 4-2 to terminate the manager. The county employees union in recent weeks has criticized Ferrell as unresponsive to its concerns and has demanded that he be fired.
