DeKalb neighborhood summit planned

DeKalb residents can learn about Zika virus prevention, potholes and water bills at the county’s upcoming annual neighborhood summit.

Attendees will be able to meet with government representatives and find information on a variety of topics, including public safety, code enforcement, recycling and foreclosures.

The event also will include activities for children, including a bounce house, face painting and law enforcement vehicles on display.

The summit will be held July 9 from 9 a.m. to noon at Greater Travelers Rest Church — House of Hope at 4650 Flat Shoals Parkway.
