DeKalb County Commissioner Kathie Gannon will help guide statewide local government policies in her new role with the Association of County Commissioners of Georgia.

Gannon was recently sworn in as one of 40 members of the Board of Managers for ACCG, which advocates for Georgia’s 159 county governments.

Another DeKalb official, Commissioner Jeff Rader, also took on a leadership role in ACCG. Rader was appointed by Gwinnett County Chairwoman and ACCG President Charlotte Nash to head the organization's Federal Policy Committee.
