Cobb Commissioners are scheduled to vote on a proposed pet sale ban and other county code amendments Tuesday morning at 9 a.m.

The vote will follow a second and final public hearing for the changes.

Some commissioners have expressed hesitation to adopt the ban on the sale of dogs and cats at pet stores due, due to legal concerns.

Other amendments to be debated include changes to rules for backyard chickens, leashed animals and short-term rentals.
