The head of Clayton County Water Authority and a former county official will be honored at this year’s Clayton County Chamber of Commerce banquet on Jan. 30. The honorees are former county commissioner Virginia Burton Gray and Mike Thomas, general manager of the water authority. This year’s banquet theme is “Feathers, Fedoras & All That Jazz.” The 6:30 p.m. event will be at the Sheraton Atlanta Airport Hotel, 1900 Sullivan Road in College Park.
