911 operator jobs open in DeKalb County

DeKalb County is accepting applications this week for 911 operator positions.

Ten people will be hired as emergency 911 communication officers.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens, have a high school diploma or GED, pass a computer skills test, pass a background check and complete a physical exam. The jobs pay a salary range of $33,363 to $51,713.

The application period is open until Friday through the job opportunities section of DeKalb's website: dekalbcountyga.gov.
