An anonymous post threatening a mass shooting on Emory University's Oxford campus in Newton County was cause for much conversation on Sunday and into Monday. The threat was initially posted to the social media app, Yik Yak, which allows users to post short messages and photos anonymously for other users to either upvote (like) or down vote (dislike). Since the threat was posted and later removed, students at the Oxford campus have shared updates detailing their frustration and fear in the hours and days following.
