Why you’ll see APS school buses on the street Wednesday
Atlanta school bus drivers will conduct practice runs on Wednesday in preparation for the first day of school on Aug. 5.
Atlanta Public Schools warns drivers that APS bus drivers will make stops, drop the bus arms and open the doors during morning and afternoon rush hours.
The purpose of the practice run is for bus drivers to become familiar with their routes and estimate pick-up and drop-off schedules.
