Atlanta’s graduating high school seniors from 14 schools will be recognized during special virtual celebrations next week.

Atlanta Public Schools previously announced it would delay graduation ceremonies until late July, or possibly even later, in an attempt to safely hold in-person events amid the coronavirus pandemic.

In the meantime, the district has announced 14 virtual celebrations for graduates of its high schools. Those events will be shown on Facebook Live and be available to watch via on-demand viewing on the district's YouTube channel and on Comcast cable Channel 22.

The virtual graduation celebrations will be held on the following dates:

Monday, May 18 

Coretta Scott King Young Women's Leadership Academy: 4 p.m.

B.E.S.T. Academy: 7 p.m.

Tuesday, May 19 

Crim Open Campus High School: 1 p.m.

KIPP Atlanta Collegiate: 4 p.m.

Therrell High School: 7 p.m.

Wednesday, May 20 

Grady High School: 1 p.m.

Maynard Jackson High School: 4 p.m.

Washington High School: 7 p.m.

Thursday, May 21 

Mays High School: 1 p.m.

Douglass High School: 4 p.m.

South Atlanta High School: 7 p.m.

Friday, May 22 

Carver STEAM: 1 p.m.

Carver Early College: 4 p.m.

North Atlanta High School: 7 p.m.
