Superintendent: Doraville TAD won’t get DeKalb Schools’ support

DeKalb County School District Superintendent Steve Green said last week that he would not gamble with hundreds of millions of dollars meant to educate children by earmarking it for redevelopment.

Developers for the GM site say cooperation from the city, DeKalb County and the school district — from which about half the funding needed for infrastructure fixes would come — is critical to the site’s success.
